Setting up console page for ngx_pagespeed

I added the code for setting up console page on ngx_pagespeed as:



But the nginx is not getting restarted after this change:


Can anybody help me in telling the correct syntax for enabling the console page.

Hi,

The docs are here (with the right configuration format, I can't really explain it any better I think):

The error message you post, however, makes me suspect that nginx does not have ngx_pagespeed installed.
Does the output "nginx -V" mention ngx_pagespeed?

Yes I have ngx_pagespeed installed and nginx -V output shows this.

I have enabled this plugin and it is working fine for me. The only issue I am facing is that the console page can't be setuped.

Would it possible for you to post the pagespeed configuration lines and ngx_pagespeed version?

The configuration lines are available in the very first screenshot I attached in this mail thread.

The ngx_pagespeed version is 1.7.30.3

The page you refer to is outdated, release 1.7.30.3 is quite old and installing it for production use is not the best of ideas.
I would recommend installing the latest stable, which offers many improvements over 1.7.30.3, including security fixes (and the admin pages / console):
