Message: Dear Ms. Bogdan,

I'm a student in UC Santa Cruz's science communication program.  I'm researching possible local science stories for a newspaper article.

Citizen Science in general and the bioblitz projects in particular seem like a great way to engage the public in science.

I was wondering if you knew if the data collected from the bioblitzes was used by any park or science organization. I'd be especially interested if there were any discoveries made - unknown populations or even actual new species found.
