Several of us ( Alison, Dave, John, Derek) spent most of the morning at Bowring Park looking for the Yellow-breasted Chat. It was very windy and cold. We had no luck finding the Chat in the morning.

The duck pond had the usual birds that have been previously reported. The male and female Wood Ducks were upstream, about half-way between the duck pond and the war memorial. The male was sleeping and resting along the shore. The female Wood Duck climbed up on the bank and posed within 10 feet of us. Thanks to Derek H. for showing me the location.

The chat was at the previously described location as soon as I arrived at 1pm

Also a Hairy Woodpecker and 5 Double-crested Cormorants.
