Lisa "Lucky Charms" de Leon just had a male Black-throated Blue Warbler on East Coast Trail south of Cape Spear light house.

The Blue was travelling with a flock of juncos, a Black & White and 2 Yellow-umped Warblers. A few chickadees were mixed in. Only 1 Savannah Sparrow seen around Cape Spear.

Also seen this morning:

Blackhead Turnaround: 1 Snow Bunting picking at the gravel.

Bus Shelter Trail: 5 Red Crossbills, 2 Pine Grosbeaks, 1 Hairy Woodpecker, 6 Purple Finch; 4 Robins; 1 White-throated Sparrow.

Overall: Flocks of juncos, Purple Finch, chickadees and kinglets are growing in size.
