We all left the parking lot,although I watched from the other side of the parking lot to see if he would eat the salmon that I threw around him.One gentleman had showed up and was watching from a wonderful safe distance,just before darker dusk I went over to talk to him,as we chatted the Jaeger shook his head,stood up,walked up the hill ten feet using both legs although one appeared a little off,he also stretched his wings out for a little stability but never ever put them on the ground,then he turned around did a little run hobble and took to wing and he's completely gone and was headed in the direction of Quidi Vidi lake.He did walk up on both legs,he did not hop so lets hope for the best!

Oh I forgot thanks Alan and your wife for this report,feel assured that before he walked uphill and took to wing he appeared to be fluffing himself,looking about,changing position and the gentleman stated he may not be able in the uphill position to see where to go but after he got up the hill so far he turned around and had an open field to look at he just boogied in fine form and he appeared ok and rested,once again thank-you.He was not staying there in the dark where he was unaware of the habitat,cause when he went in seconds he disappeared.
