Long Range Highlands

Spent the night camping at Rock Cave Pond in the highlands in Gros Morne. Here's a checklist of the birds seen around my camp - all very typical for that landscape. Lake is surrounded by a mix of scrub, old growth fir, and grassy alpine snowbeds (still holding a fair bit of snow!)

Only other birds of note on the 25 km round trip hike were 3 Rock Ptarmigan and another willow ptarmigan.
