A few of us scoured Bellevue area this morning in ideal conditions: absolutely no wind, calm seas, cloudy and no precipitation. Brian & Brian sea-watched from the cemetery area while Blair and I walked to the flats.
Highlights:
RED KNOT - 1 at the flats
Bonaparte's Gull ~5
Black-headed Gull ~11
Red-breasted Merganser - 90 including at least 2 pairs that were copulating!
White-winged Crossbill - 12

We also checked out the usual spots in Conception Bay North but the snow was coming down by then.
