There was one Pectoral Sandpiper at THE field today in Goulds. Yes, the same field that so many shore birds of late have been seen at on the Back line Road. There were two Least Sandpipers present there when I first arrived. Separated by a fair distance from each other. One was feeding busily near the small flashes of water on the field near that rope barrier. Whilst the other was resting about fifty feet away. Peter Shelton saw the two Leasts, unfortunately, the Pectoral didn't arrive until about ten minutes after Peter left.
Oh, and five semipalmated plovers circled overhead. They appeared to land in the adjoining farm field.
