Motorists can expect traffic detours and delays in the Spring Street area of Newton on Saturday (3/16/19) between approximately 11:00a.m. and 1:45p.m. due to the annual Sussex County St. Patrick's Day Parade.
Participants and parade watchers are urged to reach their destination by 11:30a.m. to avoid being inconvenienced by the detour. All
municipal parking lots will be available for free parking, but parking will be prohibited on Spring and Moran Streets today until the parade has finished.
Traffic will be restricted from streets surrounding the business district during the parade.
