Negative A_plus and A_minus values in STDP

Hi all,

I am trying to implement the ReSuMe Learning method in pyNN. It consists of STDP and anti-STDP parts, which in anti-STDP the terms would be negated. I was wondering if it is possible to use negative values for A_minus and A_plus as I have read somewhere else that they should both be positive.

I am a beginner with Spiking neural networks, Thank you in advance.
