Using the NEST master branch with PyNN

The released version of PyNN, and the master branch of the PyNN repository, work with the latest release of NEST (currently 2.10.0).

If you wish to work with the development version of NEST (NEST master branch), there is now a long-lived branch of PyNN called nest-dev which we will try to keep up-to-date with NEST master - see https://github.com/NeuralEnsemble/PyNN/tree/nest-dev
