The history of the Nixie tube - article

Hi folks,

I finally finished the first part of my article on Nixie tubes, see here:

I also started a list of patents as well as a list of manufacturers:

In any event, these pages are all far from finished, which is why I
greatly appreciate any input. Known issues are the following:

- history of the Nixie tube & patents: missing information on
development in England and other countries
- missing manufacturers (i.e. Russia)
- ...

Nice writeup!

Have you search the European Patent database at: http://www.epo.org/searching/free/espacenet.html ? Nowadays I guess that Google Patent have most of what they have but earlier they had a lot of patents not found at Google Patents.

Actually, Randall already has a patent page, and I think I found most of them on Google as well:

But I will extend my search for non-US patents in the near future :-)
