Wow!  That IS sexy!  I think this BEGS for a modern clone. IN-12's make it an inexpensive option to clone.

I'm thinking a Longines meets Steampunk clone would be cool here. A similar case to house any one of the now widely available IN-12 ebay nixie clock kits could be constructed from various brass fittings, tubing, and general hardware store bits and pieces. It would clearly only draw inspiration from this design, and with just a little planning, could be constructed in a weekend.

Bring it on! There aren’t any currently available 7 digit clocks out there (except Mitch’s design) for sale that I know of....Bob used to sell one, but his board has been delayed for a few years now....

I don't like the 7 digit idea anyway, that 10th's tube just looks frantic to me. I actually prefer 4 digit clocks. In this case I think 6 would look fine.

I'll start shopping for an appropriate clock board. Normally I'd roll my own, but this seems more like a packaging exercise than a technical design challenge.

There are some nice photos in the auction showing the insides, I've never seen the insides of this clock before so that was a nice extra!

I like the eye candy of the 7th digit myself, but each to their own!

What are the tubes in there? NEC CD56?

Anyone got a schematic?

After seeing this clock, I was browsing in my garage and found some aluminum pipe that just might fit this application, minus the seventh digit.  I have plenty of IN12s to make this one up, now I just need to find a kit that might fit.

If anyone is planning making a clock kit, I know I would be interested in one.

This clock looks very high tech for its day. So many circuit boards!
So compact, yet packed full of circuitry.
