Creating Swap Memory necessary?

Do i need to 'configure swap' on my digitalocean droplet as mentioned here? http://nicholaspaulsmith.com/neo4j-with-basic-authentication-on-digital-ocean/

I'm not sure if this article is still valid as it is dated 2015?

I don't think so. You can configure heap and page cache based on available memory and leave some for the OS

No need for swap
