(2.2.1) Unable to upgrade database from (2.1.5)

Hi,

I have a hard time starting neo4j (2.2.1) for a graph db (put a lot of time working on) made with older version (2.1.5)

Though, enabled "allow_store_upgrade=true", it doesn't upgrade the db:

~/Downloads/neo4j-community-2.2.1/bin$ sudo ./neo4j start
WARNING: Max 1024 open files allowed, minimum of 40 000 recommended. See the Neo4j manual.
Starting Neo4j Server...process [15867]... waiting for server to be ready... Failed to start within 120 seconds.
Neo4j Server may have failed to start, please check the logs.

### Console log:

2015-05-20 23:22:56.038+0000 INFO  [API] Unable to upgrade database
2015-05-20 23:22:56.040+0000 INFO  [API] Successfully shutdown Neo4j Server.
