Which linux server: Debian 9 or Ubuntu 16?

Hi all,
I have to choose between Debian 9 or Ubuntu 16 for a fresh install of Ne4j on a server.
I know they are pretty much the same thing, but should you choose which one would you pick? And why?

Personnaly I've chosen to deploy with docker using the official
images. The choice was dictated by the ease of deploy + certainty of
being able to be always on the same clean state. Doing so you'll be
using Alpine.
