relationship from a node to a relationship

Many Mind mapping software allows a node to point to (have a relationship to the) relationship that is between 2 nodes.  An example is a comment about a relationship.  Cases where an attribute for the relationship is not enough.  I want to comment on the relationship and then I want to comment on the comment, etc.  I could split the relationship into 2 parts and create a dummy node that the comment has a relationship with.    Comments
