HTML to PDF chrome extension. chrome.printerProvider

I'm trying to make HTML to PDF chrome-extension. I use jspdf library, but the result is very ugly.

I am trying to use chrome.printerProvider to save as pdf but the function onPrintRequested doesn't work. I found this question:  http://stackoverflow.com/questions/33677852/chrome-app-how-to-triger-chrome-printerprovider-events

What do I need to do to implement this extension on front-end side with the help of google-chrome API?
