Dear Corey,

There isn't a way to do that in one step, but you can cheat and do it in two goes like so:

library(nat)
plot3d(Cell07PNs, col = Glomerulus, soma=F)
plot3d(Cell07PNs, WithNodes = F, WithLines=F, soma=T, col = 'black')

The second call only plots the somata by suppressing plotting of the rest of the neuron.

All the best,

Greg.

NB there are no actual somata in those sample neurons - the plotted positions are just the roots of the neurons.

Hello,

Is there a way to use plot3d() to plot a neuron but show the soma as a different color than the dendrites?

Thanks,
Corey Elowsky
