Discuss ways to gather and assess data about at-risk individuals in rural/frontier counties and hear about the the “Preparedness Buddy" tool to meet the needs of these individuals in an emergency.

Planning for the Evacuation and Shelter in Place Needs of Home-bound Medically Dependent People in Contra Costa County 
Learn how to develop relationships with multiple agencies in your health district to locate and evacuate homebound community members in a disaster.

Whole Community Planning in Los Angeles: Making it Real and Operational
Discover how Los Angeles County has used community resources to create and operationalize a county-wide response plan, bringing public health preparedness to the forefront.

Integrating the Emergency Medical Services (EMS) sector into community healthcare preparedness planning
Hear from federal, state, and local planners about how to incorporate EMS sectors into surge planning and different ways that EMS can be included in emergency planning and response. 

Crisis Standards of Care: Lessons from Communities Developing their Plans
Hear updates about the care continuum and crisis standards of care from healthcare, public health, and EMS representatives.
