try Alt+J

You can tell because the j is underlined in the 'This is a project'
checkbox.

Alt-J toggles the "This is a project" setting. I think what the
original poster was looking for was a keyboard shortcut for cycling
through not started, in progress, suspended, completed (the four
different values for project status). I don't think there is such a
shortcut; it would be useful to have one.

Yes, that is what I'm looking for. And I understand, that such a
shortcut does not exist. Andrey, is it difficult to add?

Oh I see.. Wasn't there another thread about this recently?

Lets see if Andrey will do it.. Otherwise I could add it to MLO
Hotkeys quite easily..

Kudos,

thank you for pointing to this other thread (which belongs only of one
message without response). But there my basic idea of using project
status is mentioned: to have a possibility to see in the outline only
the active projects (status = in-progress) (possibly available with
the new tree structure?).

I haven't used your hotkeys so far - maybe I should give it a try and
then possibly ask you to integrate. Will see. But thanks for
considering this as a potential feature in your hotkey setups.

Hey Wolfgang,

I see you are (also) talking about changing the 'View:' to show only
Projects under the Outline? That is a piece of cake in Autohotkey. You
just have to send Alt-V, then P, the code would be like this:

send, !vp

I could add hotkeys for All Tasks, Projects, and Goals if you like..?

Kudos,

what I would like to see is an outline view which contains all active
projects together with all their parents and all their childs. Thus,
the hierarchy should be kept, but branches which do not contain an
active project should be invisible. I assume that is not possible with
autohotkey programs because it requires a new tree structure.

Nevertheless, I have downloaded and installed your autohotkey package
and will give it a try.

Thanks, Wolfgang

Hi
I created a uservoice voting here

http://mlo.uservoice.com/forums/9235-general/suggestions/7144514-toggle-project-status-with-a-hotkey

Let's vote for it to attract more attention of the developer:
