MyLifeOrganized products roadmap

Hello!

I would like to share with you the roadmap of MyLifeOrganized
products. As you know we are working hard on several MLO products at
the moment and I would like to give you more information on this.


MLO-Desktop
-----------------------
We have just released version 3.6.x with full UNICODE support and
important improvements inside the core. Now we are ready to move to
the new version 4.0 with improved UI and new features.

Here is the part of what we plan to add:
- Tabbed interface and new windows
- Outline filtering
- Auto-syncing to cloud
- Time tracking in some way
- Password protection for the file
- Will consider a way to see tasks in a calendar view (did not
decide the implementation details yet)
- And more!

As always our goal is to keep MLO as lightweight and as powerful as
you want it to be in your setup!

Please note that anyone that bought the full (professional) version
would get free upgrade to *all* new updates (including major) released
within 12 months from the date of their purchase. It means if you buy
MLO for Windows v. 3.6.x now you will get version 4.x for free.


MLO-Cloud
---------------------
The MyLifeOrganized Cloud Sync service doing very well and we will
continue working on its optimization: https://sync.mylifeorganized.net/
All our products already connected to MLO-Cloud: MLO-Windows, MLO-
Android, MLO-iPhone, MLO-iPad, MLO-BlackBerry, MLO-PocketPC (iPad
currently in beta).

Now we are testing new feature “task by email”. More on this later.


MLO-Android
-----------------------
MLO-Android released to Android Market as beta.

We’ve reached ~50’000 downloads very quickly. We also have good
reviews and rating. Thank you!
The beta is stable and our plan is to release it as final product
soon. You can use the beta version for free until the final product is
released. Once the final version has been released, you will have the
choice of continuing to use MyLifeOrganized for free in Lite mode, or
purchasing a license key to unlock the full feature set. In either
case your data will be preserved after the upgrade. Please use our
forum for feedback, since we cannot respond on Android Market.

If you like MLO-Android, please rate it on Android Market.

I would like to say special THANK YOU to all beta testers who spent
time for MLO-Android improvements. I like our private beta team since
it is very positive and productive! With your help we created a really
excellent application.

We may consider MLO for Android tablets.


MLO-iPad

We have released the new beta version to the private beta team.

MLO-iPhone
---------------------
After we release MLO-iPad version we plan to port new functionality
from iPad version to iPhone.


MLO-BlackBerry

We will continue supporting existed version of MLO-BlackBerry.


MLO-PocketPC
--------------------
We will continue supporting existed version of MLO-PocketPC.


MyLifeOrganized forum
--------------------------------
We are planning to move from google groups to a new forum. If you have
any suggestions – let me now. The option to read forum and respond
with email is preferable. Alternatively the forum may be replaced by a
complex communication system (see below).


Customer communication
-----------------------------------
We plan to setup the complex customer communication system which may
include:
- customer satisfaction forum (like UseVoice or Getsatisfaction
or userecho.com)
- Facebook fan page (already done: http://www.facebook.com/MyLifeOrganized)
- Twitter (already done: http://twitter.com/MyLifeOrg)
- Blog
- New forum
With all new exciting products we will definitely need new
communication system in place. So we need to decide how all these
things will connect to each other. For example will we need a regular
forum if we start using getsatsfaction? If you have ideas or
suggestions – let us know on this google forum. It will work until we
implement the new setup.

I really appreciate Mark’s effort to setup UserVoice for MLO:

Let’s consider it as a temporal un-official MLO community until we
have the full community system in place. I am closely monitoring the
UserVoice and the information there will definitely help us to
understand priorities of our customers and plan accordingly.


MyLifeOrganized website

We are working on redesign of our website to better support all new
product we added last year.
We are very excited about all the new products and power we are adding
to MyLifeOrganized. You know that launching new products always
requires much effort and concentration. Especially if you want to
deliver high quality. Hope you will enjoy the new level of
MyLifeOrganized products!
