drag/drop text into outline

Is there a way to drag/drop text into the MLO outline?

I can select text in WordPad (or in notes in MLO) and drag it to the MLO outline. MLO even shows a blue line where it will be dropped, but when I release/drop it nothing happens.

This would be a super handy feature for quickly move text to/from MLO from notes (in TextPad, Word, etc). I use drag/drop to reorganize my Word document all the time.

Good point, David.  I've posted a link to your post into the beta discussion forum.  It would be worth raising it as a request in the wish list on the Uservoice site, too.
