Revoking the Foreign Exchange Acceptor and Holder License

Dear all,

 

FYI,

      According to the attached letter (Myanmar version) issued by Currency Management Department, Central Bank of Myanmar, the foreign exchange acceptor and holder license shall be revoked at (19-10-2015) in order to use local currency (kyats) only. Therefore the following business shall return their license lasted by (31-11-2015);

(a)  Hotel and Tour business

(b)   Restaurants

(c)    Duty Fess Shops

(d)   Air Lines

(e)   Hospitals

(f)     Freight Forwarders

(g)    Telecommunication business

(h)   Other companies (such as soft drink and beverage, courier services, sprinkle pesticides, Media, Apartments, UMHCL, etc…)

(i)      Other business (such as Lacquer, silk, souvenir shop, super market, Golf club, funeral services, etc..)
