How do I select what is shown in the headers-view?

I'd like to filter some of the messages that are appearing when I use the shortcut b-u (unread messages).

In my mode line I see:

flag:unread AND NOT flag:trashed

Is there a way to add AND NOT flag:spam to it?

I looked in the mu4e manual, but couldn't find something helpful.

Sure, just edit that particular bookmark in your .emacs file. :)
