I am visiting from the land of gnus+notmuch+gmane. I am loving mu4e-land so much I want to become a permanent resident!

But there is ONE thing I miss from the old country... back there they "hide' messages that have been read.

So... is it possible to hide messages we have read?

TIA - George

You could have a custom bookmark whose query contains "flag:unread"
and thus 'hides' the email messages that have been read.

For example:

(add-to-list 'mu4e-bookmarks
'("flag:unread AND date:today..now" "Todays Unread Email" ?i))

will add a mu4e bookmark giving you all of todays unread email.

Best,

Glad you're liking mu4e. I'm new to it as well and finding it very nice so
far.

I'm not an expert but, perhaps you can look into adding some bookmarks
with search query `flag:unread` that way it will automatically hide read
messages.
