Hi,

I've read with interest a thread about marking messages in bulk a few weeks ago, but I may not have understood it completely.
Is it possible -out of the box- to mark all messages read in one folder, say one inbox, or is there some extra lisp required ? And if the extra lisp is required, does anybody have something potentially useful?

Thank you,

Charles.

You mean, programatically, not by using the region to mark all and
then performing the action?

Either one of them. Ideally I want to be able apply the mark 'Read' to an entire folder. Selecting an entire region may help and I am also a taker of that but it is not a direct solution in my case.

Best,

Charles.

I too would be interested in whether this is possible. Either with mu4e or mu from the commandline.

You can mark the region (all buffer if you'd like) and apply the action.

Or, more selective, Mark thread (T if I don't remember wrong) and apply action.

HTH... :)
