Hi,

I read in the mu4e manual that one can use 'C-u e a' to save all
attachments without having to provide their numbers. However, for each
attachment, I am still asked "Save as...?". How can I have a "save all
attachments by their names and don't ask for each file separately"?

Ideally, it should not even ask to overwrite files if there are files
with the same name in the download folder [would be cool if it could
simply append a number in such case, as Google Chrome does, for
example.]

Cheers,

Marius

Currently, it will always ask; the function is
mu4e-view-save-attachment-single
(in mu4e-view.el); I suppose a variable `mu4e-view-save-dont-ask' could
be added and a check in that function, to get rid of the question.

Cheers,
Dirk.

Hi Dirk,

This sounds great (that's probably the last point where Gnus is faster
['X m'] :-) )

Cheers,

Marius
