mu4e bookmarks 'pretty name' in mode-line?

I use lots of bookmarks with mu4e, but they're not very pretty, e.g.

( ( maildir:/MAILBOX1/INBOX AND NOT from:me\@google\.com ) OR
maildir:/MAILBOX2/INBOX OR maildir:/MAILBOX3/INBOX OR
maildir:/MAILBOX4/INBOX OR maildir:/MAILBOX5/INBOX ) AND NOT
flag:trashed

Is there any way to 'prettify' them in the mode-line, so that, for
instance, the above would say -- instead of the long monstrosity above,
which doesn't even fit in the mode-line -- "All inboxes" or the like?
