I'm currently working on a project with paho mqtt to publish to a topic when my Light dependent resistor reaches a set threshold. In my python script Imported Paho and instructed my os to play a sound upon receiving a payload from the LDR topic. This is the issue I'm facing: when the topic is published to, the sound is played multiple times before stopping. Sometimes as much as 35 times.

I want the sound to be played once and the topic published once after every threshold is exceed.
