if you're on the 15.05 branch release, or similar locations for
trunk. (This is for the common ar71xx target platform, but it's
packaged for all targets.

It's also available in LEDE as well:
http://downloads.lede-project.org/snapshots/packages/mips_34kc/packages/libmosquitto_1.4.9-1_mips_34kc.ipk
for instance.

Perhaps you're more in need of openwrt SDK help rather than MQTT
help?
