Scenario of mqtt broker crashing

Hi,

We have nearly built a custom broker.Now we are concerned about the scenario when one broker crashes .

In that case how to replicate all the broker states to a new broker instance ?

Hi Kushal,

I would say your question is out of scope with regards to the MQTT protocol. As we don't know what your requirements are we can't tell you what is best in your case, but the following options come to mind: use a (No)SQL database or maybe something like ZooKeeper. And maybe you don't need to do anything as clients should reconnect to the new instance of the broker (and if you are running QoS > 0 the clients should resent anyway).
