Hi,

Is Mosquitto (server broker) supported on Windows Server 2012 or Windows Server 2008 R2?
What are the requirements for RAM for the Mosquitto broker?
Is there any preference for using Mosquitto (server broker) on Linux or Windows Server OSs?
Are there C# client libraries (to publish/subscribe) available? If yes, which one is the most used/recommended?

Thanks.

Hi Guy,

This mailing list is for discussion of the MQTT protocol, not for specific implementations of that protocol.

You need to visit https://launchpad.net/~mosquitto-users to sign up for the Mosquitto mailing list and post your question over there.

Hey Guy,

As far as C# client libraries, if you're looking for open source, try the excellent libraries by Paolo Patierno on codeplex here: http://m2mqtt.codeplex.com/
If open source is not a requirement, we are working on commercial .NET components for MQTT. You can download our client libraries free for personal and educational use here http://www.kittyhawkmq.com

My pleasure. Please feel free to send me any feedback you might have on the MQTT APIs. I'd love to know what you think!
