應該開個 p12n bug 拿掉就可以了，不過有沒有什麼類似的選擇可以換掉它的？

之前跟 Mozilla 討論是有說過只要跟服務商那邊打過招呼，對方不反對應該就還可以... 當然也是要開 p12n bug 走流程就是了。

是說當初 Tim（或更古早之前）選 Findbook 的原因是什麼？好像不只有網路書店/書店比價可放

不然看看有沒有要放航班比價的啊...（誤

已經沒在用的 MozTW-dev 裡面，2008/1/8 的討論結果（回去再丟個連結上來）

當時就是選大家常用或好感度高的的服務，所以現在或許 readmoo 跟 taaze 就比博客來適合。

Android 一直都沒有 ship with Findbook 喔，只有幾套搜尋引擎、Amazon、Twitter、英文版維基百科。

我是覺得可以拿掉 Amazon，然後把維基百科換成中文版的 searchplugin。

那如果博客來、readmoo、Taaze 任一家有不錯的 Searchplugin 的話也是可以考慮把它包進 Fennec 來啦。

只是另外有寫信去經過對方同意置入。

是啊自己做，至少對方得同意商標被包進 Firefox 裡面，可能還要考慮對方承不承受得起 Firefox 帶來的流量（現在大概不用擔心了哈哈）。

之前 RSS Reader 想換成 Feedly/Inoreader 就是因為寄去都沒回音所以 bug 被上游打槍...

我倒覺得拿掉沒什麼不可，反正要放也不會重新放 findbook.tw 回去了。

現有的 searchplugin 本身有沒有壞掉要改參數的？晚點一起開 bug 改掉。

在瀏覽器翻譯以外，總是要盡量保有社群在 BD 面的靈活度啊，不然就是自廢功夫了。

我晚上先把兩邊的 opensearch 準備好，然後發信去找對方（taaze readmoo 都有聯繫管道可試）。

另外直接從搜索套件操作，findbook 還是會動（雖然首頁有噴錯誤，但是內頁跟功能上也沒問題），所以覺得還沒這麼急迫。

Hi Theresa,

我是 Peter，Mozilla 在正體中文（台灣）語系的在地化負責人。

如果 Taaze 同意讓我們加入 searchplugin 的話，我們這邊會做好 Taaze 的 searchplugin（Irvin 前幾天已經做了一版），然後送進 Firefox 的程式碼裡面交給上游。

剛送進去會先出現在每天更新的 Firefox Nightly 測試版，等到那個測試版正式推出時就會一起上線。

目前最快的 Nightly 是 2018-01-16 推出的 Firefox 58，但如果都順利的話我們可以試試看讓他搭早一班車，在 11 月的時候上線。

關於搜索套件，我發現 Taaze 的 search suggestion 無法直接使用，可否協助提供一組符合 OpenSearch 的 API？

（如果沒有也是可以，但是有的話使用上更好。）
