Beginning at 10:00 EDT (2:00PM UTC) on May 14th, 2016, bugzilla.mozilla.org will be down for maintenance for up to 3 hours. We will be converting all DB timestamps to UTC for easier replication with AWS, and other benefits. After the migration is complete, you should not notice a difference as the UI will still display dates/times as PDT by default. As before, you can set the your timezone to something other than PDT using the Preferences page.

Bug 232193 - bmo's systems (webheads, database, etc) should use UTC natively for o/s timezone and date storage
https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=232193

Please let us know (file bugs) if you see any issues after the migration.

Thanks
BMO Team

This change has been completed. Please let us know (in bug reports) any time and or date issues you see that we may have missed.

The default timezone for timestamps is America/Los_Angeles so for those who have not set their timezone to a custom value, the timestamps should still look the same as before the changeover. It is just that now, the data is stored in the DB as UTC.

Thanks
