error when closing pipe to "/usr/lib/sendmail.exe

Hello,

Any assistance would be appreciated...

Sendmail has been configured and is working fine, although occasionally when updating a bug, we get a "error when closing pipe to "/usr/lib/sendmail.exe: Inappropriate I/O control operation.

Any idea what is causing this?

I guess problems in the communication with your mail server or such.
Enable debug logging in sendmail.exe and if the problem occurs again
have a look at what has been done last.
