Hi,

I'm copying the MDN writers list - we should have a few folks there who
could help out with editing and review.

The document is currently about 6 pages, but I'd like to try and keep it
under 10. Mostly because asking folks to read more than that guarantees
they won't read any of it.

I'm also going to try to pair it up with referenced sources like a
python & javascript library as well as a Web Push Data Test Page I've
built a while back:
https://mozilla-services.github.io/WebPushDataTestPage/ I'm hoping that
I can give something a bit more detailed than an introduction, but a bit
less than delving into the intricacies of Diffie Hellman.

I'm also hoping to have something editor ready by the end of the week.

thanks!

Thanks Chris!
I'll send you the doc when it's reasonably ready and we can work from
there when you have time.

Hi there!

I am happy to take this on for you — as J-Y said, I’ve got the most Push experience here (I’m not an expert in server-side stuff, but I am willing to learn.)

I wrote the MDN Push API docs, but I’m always happy to extend them to include more useful coverage. The server-side info is definitely thin on the ground.

The timing sounds good - I am busy this week and next with our current sprint, but I could put these docs as a task in our next sprint.
