I need someone to do a technical review of https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=213699. What are some strategies to recruit a technical reviewer?

I've written a new article on MDN about how I go about requesting
technical reviews. Hopefully the tips therein are helpful!

Yeah, I'm going to put more detail in about needinfo. I rushed through
writing the article to get it done so it could be used to answer this
question quickly, and now I need to go and flesh out a couple of details
like that one. Thanks for the reminder!

Hi Duncan

One thing Sheppy's guide mentions, but is maybe worth calling out more
prominently: if you can identify someone with an interest in there being
good docs for the thing, you can explicitly ask for their attention in the
bug using the "Needs more information" flag (often abbreviated, in
traditionally obscure Mozilla-speak, to "NI"):
https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Tools/Contributing#Asking_questions
.

For example, suppose an engineering bug has the "dev-doc-needed" flag set,
indicating that someone thinks that the new feature needs developer
documentation. If I write some docs for the feature and want technical
review, I'll generally ask for review from the person who fixed the bug,
and "NI" them, to get their attention (e.g.
https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1242871#c19).

In your case, it's a bit different, because this is a documentation bug, so
it's less obvious who's interested in the docs (worse, it was filed in
2003(!) so the person filing it might not be interested any more). But if I
were you, I might NI Marc asking for review, since he seems to be
interested in the docs for it.

Cheers

Will
