Goedemorgen deze morgen!

Sorry this took so long. We are actually ordering hardware now so that we
have a place to run this more frequently. Instead of on my MacBook Pro,
which get *really* hot after running screenshots for 12 hours :-/

https://people.mozilla.org/~sarentz/fxios/screenshots/latest/
https://people.mozilla.org/~sarentz/fxios/screenshots/2016-04-30/
https://people.mozilla.org/~sarentz/fxios/screenshots/2016-04-30.tgz

(All the same)

Unfortunately a number of locales failed to run, in which case the
directory only contains a snapshot.log. We will look into that.

These screenshots are essentially the same as the last run we did last
month, but of course with updated text and against the 4.0 branch.

On Monday I will try to add new screenshots related to new functionality in
Firefox 4.0 and some things we missed for 3.0:

• Login Manager (3.0)
• Top Sites empty state (3.0)
• Certificate Error Pages (4.0)
• Today Widget (4.0)

Enjoy the weekend,

S.

This Cancel button bug keeps haunting us. I think we may have fixed this
and landed a string for it, but it is possible that the strings file did
not land in the right place because this UI is considered a separate 'app
bundle' by iOS. I will investigate and I made a note to file a bug later.

You get there by enabling the 'Firefox' extension. Hit the share button
(the box with the upward arrow), then if Firefox is not in the top row, hit
the More button and enable it. Then from any app you can activate this UI
by sharing a URL to Firefox.

Thanks, it's indeed not localized also on the device.

The Cancel button you're referring to is probably
https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1196949

I have no idea how to test it on the device, and the Cancel button is
not localized (also checked French).

Side note for others checking the screenshots: I believe most of the
strings in iPhone5s-11LocationDialog-01.png come from the OS, only
"Websites you visit may request your location." in the middle comes from
our xliff. If your locale is not fully supported (i.e. there's no full
OS localization), you might see mixed English/localized text.

Hi,

I notice that in the screenshot concerning the update of login data, it
says „Update“ or „Don’t Save“, the latter of which is the same string
used in the „Save login“ prompt.

I wonder if it should perhaps say „Don’t update“ to mark the distinction
between the initial saving of the login data and future changes? I
recognise that this may be difficult in terms of space (particularly for
German).

Thanks and regards,

Michael
