Hi all,

Today's meetup mainly focused on how to get started with the various task
forces and trying to initiate activities in Bangalore, We've listed all the
links on the etherpad here,

If you missed joining us online, do catch the video here:

Deb, we'd like to start working on fsa.mozillaindia.org so if you could
setup a repo on github for the same, it'll be awesome.

That's all for now. More for later! Thanks Akshay, Anivar, Abin, Biraj,
Debapriya and Kumaresan for joining us remotely.

Small note (detail will follow later, or would prefer a discourse thread
for such explanations):
<teamname>.mozillaindia.org will end up creating a surge in subdomain noise.

Could we, rather, go for a generic people.mozillaindia.org & make it a
community discovery tool?
It'll save other teams to have to reinvent the same wheel again & get their
subdomain.mozillaindia.org.

Aside from that, for event management, "vibe" was intended to be deployed
on events.mozillaindia.org & handle all aspects of it (including the forms
etc), once the development gets to the MVP stage.

Mozilla India Planet is a good request, and will be up once we have the
new-infra*.

*new-infra: I'll skip explaining it, but we're moving to a more modular
infra per-team/per-deployment, once Mozilla Community IT is ready for it.

Hi Deb,

When we goto people.mozillaindia.org wont it be too generic. I hope another
active FSA community has small website for them.

http://fsa.mozillaphilippines.org/

But people.mozillaindia.org will be great if we have more filter options.

Thank you

I don't see the necessity of fsa.mozillaindia.org . With ref to [1] , it is
just a static page which has very generic information on FSA which you
could very well find in [2].

Apart, in [2] when you look at `Firefox Clubs` , I guess you got more than
hundreds of clubs in India, displaying up them in a website doesn't make
sense. Rather you could go with creating a wiki page where you could
populate these kind of information.

Hi Jai,

I understand as you mentioned it is static page. Since they had less than
20 Clubs they are able to make it to static page.

But in India, we have 100+ clubs, so we can show atleast 5 in main page, to
check FSA's I think we can collect DB, and depends on user search we can
show.

Say we have collected all clubs in India, and if one want's to know only
FSA of Banglore, let him choose from filter option Karnataka for region and
then Bangalore from City.

Thank you
