Hello All !

Recently, I was on a tour of Andaman and Nicobar islands and found this
opportunity suitable to initialize stumbling in these islands.
Here is the link to the blog post :

Hey Prathamesh,

This is awesome! Just read through your blog now. Loved the last bit where
you educated the taxi drivers about this.
Just curious to know their reaction though. Were they tech savy enough to
get interested when you told them about Moz Stumbler?
It would be awesome if we could have a local community there to work on the
possibilities of this and also maybe have FSA's from around there too.

Hope you had a great trip and keep up the great work!

Hey Shreyas !

Actually, in Andaman, very few people use internet, say 1/7th of the total
population.
The taxi drivers were very very surprised and excited when i introduced to
them the stumbler app.
I also told them about the FSA program and they showed a lot of interest in
the view that their children would also get equivalent knowledge and
opportunity on the internet as a resource.
In the coming future it is very much possible to have a Mozilla community
setup on the island territory.

:)

Hey Prathamesh,

First of all, Great work!

I was just going to point out that the folks there don't really use
internet and the ones who do, have very slow internet connection. But the
idea sounds wonderful, I'm sure soon we'll have a wonderful community in
Andaman and Nicobar Islands who will contributing to Mozilla!

Cheers!
