Hi all,

I've always believed research is aimed at bettering our lives, but at
the same time felt really sad that the fruits of research are always
closed - there's always a lid on it. Well I guess it's not the
situation any more!

With the Mozilla Science Labs <https://www.mozillascience.org/> (MSL)
coming up, I am sure the gap between research and open web will soon
be merged. Having said that, the second event (and the first in India)
with regard to MSL - Global Sprint 2015
<https://www.mozillascience.org/global-sprint-2015> is set to happen
on *Jun 4 - Jun 5 2015 *worldwide and at Bangalore, Hyderabad, Kolkata
and Jabalpur in India. So if you're a researcher, tool developer, web
developer, publisher, data enthusiast, etc who wants to collaborate
to further science on the web - then this here is your golden chance
at it!

Please checkout the amazing project ideas on the etherpad
<https://etherpad.mozilla.org/sciencelab-2015globalsprint> here
(register under your nearest venue). I've CC'd the various location
hosts, so please do get in touch with your nearest one if you have any
questions. Hastag for the event is #mozsprint. Make it rain!

PS: Some cool goodies to take home!

PPS: The previous mail from my domain waits moderator approval, hence
re-posting.
