Firefox 48 is now available as a free download for Windows, Mac OS X, GNU/Linux, and Android from http://www.mozilla.org/firefox/new/.
We recommend that users keep up to date with the newest version of Firefox for the latest features and fixes.
This release contains:
* Process separation (e10s) for some users
* Mandatory add-ons signatures
* WebExtensions are now considered as stable
* Enhanced download protection
* New video controls on Android
