Question on ISO8601 date strings

I am working in a product called Provenir that uses XML files to send requests and receive responses.

I understand from their 3rd level support team that Provenir uses Rhino v1.6r4. Is there a way on this version of Rhino to do a datediff on date string values that are formatted in ISO8601.

Is there anything like a fromISO8601 method in Rhino to help with this?
