Firefox addon debug

Hello,

I would like to debug firefox addon (.xpi) file.
I want to see the sequence of execution of the addon.
Is there any tool - where I can open the addon and start (run / play) the addon.

You can use the add-on debugger[1].

Hello Ryan,

Sincere thanks for sending me the url.

I have gone through the video given as well as read the data given on the page.
I am trying to understand how the addons like httpfox, tamperdata work - their code execution sequence.
It will be great if you can suggest some urls, documents to read related to this.
