The Library Systems Department at West Virginia University is seeking
a Professional Technologist II. This position is involved with the
planning and developing of library applications in HTML, CSS,
JavaScript, XML, and PHP. The selected candidate will have a good
working knowledge of programming web applications using the PHP
programming language and will work with both new and existing systems.
The selected candidate will assist in the maintenance and installation
of hardware and software upgrades. The position requires travel to
Evansdale and Health Sciences, and some evening and weekend work. A
Baccalaureate degree, preferably in a field related to Information
Science and Technology or Computer Science is required. At least two-
three years of experience in a systems and/or computer programming
position working with development tools/Programming languages is
required. The position will remain open until filled. Interested
