Any news on getting google logins to work ?

( I'm holding off making a wholesale move from my existing password management to mooltipass pending this and supporting bank-style logins )

Thanks,

Pete

Hello Peter,

Google credential recall (having the extension enter your login password for you) works perfectly.
Credential storage (extension picking up your credentials and store them in the mini) is implemented and tested in the repository but not yet pushed to the store.
You may therefore simply manually store your google credentials using the app in the mean time :).

Mathieu

Can you explain some more ?  Maybe I missed something, but I don't get any sort of prompt and the "Fill Pass Only" pop-up doesn't do anything.

If it matters I have 4 google accounts and so get a pull-down list

I can get mooltipass to type the password for me by using the wheel, but too slow for everyday use.

Great - good news.  Thanks for the update.

Hello Peter,

Right now, if you have a service named "google.com" with all your gmail accounts, the mooltipass will prompt you to approve credentials sending when you visit the google sign-in page.
I'm however going to check the page you sent in your email.

I can confirm this works for me. Google his a hidden password field when it first asks for username, the password is already filled out for me once I confirm the username. I have a service named google.com with both my username and password.

Thanks again.   This is what I did.

1. manually added 3 google accounts via moolticute with service name google.com
2. go to https://accounts.google.com/ServiceLogin, and select one account from the list
3. when password field is displayed I now get a choice of usernames on the mooltipass device itself ( not web page )
4. select the user account via the wheel and I'm logged in.

Is this the current expected approach ?

Presumably the forth coming update will do this all in the browser.

Cheers,

Pete
