Hi folks,

Im looking to create a new MOO, self hosted, I've seen the awesome work that @mark has done with MultiMOO but I want (and needs) to self host.

Any suggestions

Sure.  Get an EC-2 instance on AWS, download LambadaMOO Source from GitHub, install the required components for AWS (gcc and such), compile the MOO, apply the patches (if you need them), and open the ports you need for the MOO in the AWS security area.  Boom.  Self hosted MOO.

If you're running windows you could also try WinMOO which will run locally on a windows machine.

You could also self host it using Vagrant and Virtual Box on a Linux VM.

Cheaper than EC2 is Digital Ocean or Linode. WinMOO is very out of date the last time I checked.

Definitely out of date.  Only mentioned it because it's super easy to get working.  So if you're new to running a MOO it's a good place to start if you want to be up and running in like 15 minutes.
