Hello,
A friend of mine and I have been messing with the idea of translating at least the player-interactable parts of MOO into a different language.
Our main problem is that this language requires accented characters to look half-decent. We did get this to work on some version of Lambda MOO with a UTF-8 patch that is publicly available, and got most things translated, including preposition specs, but some of the features we are looking for are only available in Stunt.
Due to the fact that Lambda is C and Stunt is C++, and, to be honest, my knowledge of both languages is minimal if not nonexistent and I believe myself unable to make the necessary syntax changes to the Lambda UTF-8 patch, I thought I would ask here if anyone has ever attempted implementing this or, failing that, knows if it is possible to get this to work without mass-sacrificing kittens.

Thanks in advance.

Hi everyone,

I am interested too in this question. Someone knows the way to allow UTF8 characters in a MOO code? For example in Stunt.

I thinnk that there is one way to do that because I read in its features, but I don't know how.

   Thanks in advance.

What do you mean saying what client would you use? I would like to translate Stunt into another language. It's not for the client to use, I think

The client is the software used to connect to the server... e.g. FileZilla's an FTP client, Outlook's an email client, uTorrent's a bittorrent client, PuTTY's an SSH client, etc.
