Hello Pythonists!
McGill Physics department organizes a Hackathon on July 9th and 10th for students (CEGEP, undergrad, grad levels).
It will be dedicated to visualizations of any Physical phenomena.
One doesn't need to know any Physics to participate - teams will be formed so that at least on person is proficient in Physics and there will be experts in Physics to help out.
We are looking for mentors proficient in programming to help out hackathonists for a couple of hours on July 9th. Hackathon will take place at
SAT, which is a gorgeous location with a terrace ;-)
And for a Pythonist to give a 1 hour talk on how to use Python for visualizations (probably matplotlib or anything alike).
Thank you,
Igor
